I attended my first Ashtanga Yoga class at the Brighton Buddhist Centre in 2003 and was blown away! I started practicing morning Mysore style in 2006 with Sarah Miles and founded the Ashtanga Brighton website in 2007 to support the local Ashtanga Yoga community. I organise Ashtanga workshops in Brighton and also send out an occasional newsletter. In 2009 I set up a Sunday self practice group at the Mad Hatter Cafe.
I practice 5/6 days a week and also run a Brighton digital media agency - zero G media. There is great stillness and joy to be found in the daily practice of yoga but it requires dedication, patience and consistency to make progress - like the rest of life. Ashtanga Yoga is a process of healing and self discovery.
I share with many other Ashtangis, a deep devotion to the Ashtanga Yoga lineage with it's heart at the KPJAYI in Mysore under direction of Sharath Jois. I'm looking forward to making my first trip to Mysore at the end of 2012.
I'm passionate about sharing the transformational practice of Ashtanga Yoga with beginners and those new to yoga. With this in mind I offer a 10 class card for just £50. The card is valid at my Thursday class.
Come and discover yourself one breath at a time!
