Anyone know a tabla/djembe player for musical yoga?

Djembe drumsIf anyone fancies trying out a practice to music one day, my partner Jon is a guitarist and willing to provide some live accompaniment. To keep a gentle pulse going, it would be good to get a tabla or djembe player on board too – anyone interested, or know someone?

Then if people are interested we could pick an occasion for some musical flow!

    Hey Louise,

Did you check out that great article in Yoga Journal about practicing to music last month? Michael Franti is featured in it too. You can check out his tunes on spotify.com

I also know the guy who runs soulful singing who is a Djembe player… He’ll be up for it I reckon…

The only thing left is to decide when and where?

Yes, actually the Yoga Journal article was the starting point for this whole idea!

That’s great news about the djembe player you know – if he’s into it, can I have his number so I can put him in touch with Jon? Then we can pick a time – maybe one of Shari’s Sunday mornings? Shari…how does that sound?

    Hey Louise,

I’ll see him at Buddhafield next week so I’ll sound him out there and let you know what he says!

    Hey Louise,

I spoke to Mahsukha and he’s up for doing some drumming in a yoga class:
You can contact him directly from his website: Soulful Singing
